Is delayed development for walking, crawling etc crucial to a dyspraxia diagnosis?
I have most of the symptoms and several medical proffessionals have suggested I have dyspraxia but I learnt to walk, talk and crawl at average ages or slightly before.
Does this mean I dont have dyspraxia or is it just another of many symptoms that some people may or may not have?

Re: Delayed development
In all difficulties/disabilities everyone is different.
Some children struggle to walk etc maybe (or maybe not) due to dyspraxia. And some walk fine.
It's best not to over think it really

Re: Delayed development
Hi fordinand,
Thanks for replying. I'm going to try get an appointment with my GP next and see if I can get an assessment for dyspraxia and I didn't want to waste any bodies time if I definitely didn't have it because I developed walking etc at a "normal" rate as a child so thanks for the reassurance. I'll definitely make the appointment now I know it's not a make or break thing.

Re: Delayed development
their are no default symptoms just common traits, for example I walked and learnt to ride a bike like most people and learnt well, but according to the assesment done I fall into the 1%tile for alot of other things.
