hi i have dyspraxia

hi when i was told i had Dyspraxia it was called clumsy child syndrome ,the genius dr told my adopted parents in front of me ... coz clearly i was to thick to understand what was being said , i have i guess felt to a degree like i was not worthy , only in part because of that , tbh , only in the last few years have i found out what it actually means and is i felt like i am my whole life , to smart to be as useless as i was at spelling and maths , i was told i was too lazy too learn or thick .. not meaning to be but i just wanted to tell someone i have a brain a good brain , just it does not work the same way as some peoples

Know how you feel all my life i have had a hard time with writing , remembering & clumsiness (i'm 43) only been diagnosed a week ago!! when i was a child was constantly told i was thick & why did i have to be told mutiple times the same thing. put on the thick table (as it was called back then!) sat next to another child who had reading difficulty's & because the teacher was uninterested over the year helped him to learn how to read from his dick & jane book
