Ageing

Post by Catwoman42 »

I notice that I am falling over (and hurting myself) a lot recently. I'm not even aware that I'm falling so I don't put a hand to save myself...One minute I'm upright then I'm on the floor. It's like a tree falling. I don't remember being this bad when I was younger (I'm now 50) Is this an ageing thing? Should I consult my GP? Unfortunately when I fall I break or crack a bone or hurt my muscles. Any help gratefully received.

As far as I know dyspraxic is not a degenerative condition although your reactions do slow as you get older anyway, you may be experiencing the the cumulative effects of both.
Are you particularly tired/stressed at the mo ? Because I'm very similar to what you your describing when I'm under pressure and/or not sleeping.
Your symptoms do sound a bit extreme though personally Id have a word with my doctor just to be on the safe side.
