Congratulations with getting into York University - York's a great city to be a student in (I didn't go to York University, instead I went to York St John) and had three brilliant years living and studying in the city.

Hi!

I'm new here too, and have had a similar experience - at 22 years old, I've just now learned of this condition which could explain *so* many things that I've tried to seek help from doctors about, but all the little pieces on their own didn't mean enough to get a diagnosis.

Congrats on getting into uni, and doing what you want to do in spite of all the negative voices in your life. I'm studying online at the moment doing a BA, and have found it challenging - though not enough to make me give up :p The hardest part for me is keeping on top of deadlines (hard with a memory like a sieve!).

Best of luck with your studies :D
