Help with mental blocks writting reports

Hi all,
Any body got any good tips for getting over mental block while writting reports?
I'm trying to write up the report part of my dissertation, im on a particually chewy part and my brain has just gone, NO !!! I'm not doing this.
I dont mind the practical programing bit thats pure logic, you write it, it does what it needs to you test it if it works done (well not quite that simple but sort of
).
But report writting is totaly diffrent, I'm no assayist I cant do flow and clarity I'm totally stuck
my brain wont work on probelms like this, I've written and rewritten one page about 4 times and its taken me a day !
