I'm brand new to this site. I was diagnosed with DCD several years ago (Developmental Coordination Disorder), and read that Dyspraxia is just another term for it. I just found this forum, and reading some of the entries, I feel like I belong here. I have a lot of problems, and it effects my social and personal life. I guess I'm here to try and communicate with people who knows how it is, and people I don't have to try and explain my behavior to. I hope to make new friends here and learn about, and hopefully inspire someone. Today I received a letter from a good friend saying that she looks up to me a lot because I'm brave. That really touched me, because even with all of my difficulties, I continue to not let them hinder my progress.
Anyway, I look forward to meeting you all. Take care!
