Hi,
I'm 33 and was diagnosed when i was at university when I was 21. I'm afraid I have spent most of my time since thinking I didn't really have anything and that if I just worked hard enough I would overcome this dyspraxia thing. I haven't ever met anyone else with dyspraxia and until this year didn't tell anyone about it.
However I feel much more positive now. Difficulties - have always been pretty rubbish at sport, can't ride a bike, haven't learnt to drive, live in perpetual mess, can't block out noise very well and forget words a lot - ah the look of bewilderment in colleagues faces when you try to describe the word table when you can't think of any words to describe something like a table. However none of it is very bad.
I am glad to find this forum as I have never spoken to anyone else with dyspraxia.
thanks, ellie
Good Evening
