i got sacked from a volunteer job
it was a league of friends cafe, the letter i received stated " due to the re-organisation of the volunteer work force im no longer required"
is this a valid reason, or just and excuse and is there anything that can be done about it?
help and advice wanted

If it were a paid job I would say that you may have grounds to look into it,because its you volunteering to do the work I wouldn't have thought so maybe the were being genuine with their reasons in letting you go.
If you are still interested in still doing volunteering you might try Google by typing in volunteer work in your area and see what comes you might find something that you may enjoy even more whatever the outcome its their loss.Most places are usually asking for volunteers not getting rid of them so I am sure your help would be needed elsewhere, whatever happens anyway good luck.
