(At least where the arts and social sciences are concerned.)
Considering that ND people can have problems with time management, competion of assignments (done well) on time and can need a longer lead time to organise their thoughts and ideas why, why, why is there a problem with making available WITHOUT CHARGE ALL cited academic texts for courses online?
Why is it made to feel like trying to break into Fort Knox to get the required books, journals and articles from academic libaries with the added stress of their not being available in sufficient quantities and then their staff being on your back to bring it back sooner than for how long you actually need it for ?
Considering what ND people have to put up with I think it is unacceptable NOT to have these sources online from academics. Surely for as long as they have not Plagiarized HOW anyone gets the sources for as long as they can be referenced should be of NO interest to them?
(If the material can be acessed via a laptop I chill out and for anyone who dosen't have one of them by their own means when a student then of course it should be provided as part of a needs assesment with one as good as they can get within reason with all the specs and software for them to keep.

What is being tested more here? How to intelligently complete the ACTUAL assignments with the required material at hand or ingenuity in negotiating the fun and games with libaries ?
If the sources aren't made available online then (especially where ND people are concerned) for the aggravation that causes at an extreme dosen't that justify just throwing their course reading list back at them?
