Is this a Dyspraxic trait or just paranoia?

When I'm off in a daydream or develop random anxiety, I often think that Im not good enough for people. The way I speak, laugh, look.
I am engaged and I always go out my way for my Fiance but never feel like I'm good enough for him.
Even with family and friends. I always put myself down. I was just wondering if this is Dyspraxic or just plain sillyness?

hi no i'm like that as well but as you say it's hard to tell i wonder with me if it is a dyspraxic trait or due to the difficulties of having dyspraxia and how it makes you feel when you struggle to oo things other people can do easily ??? I don't know would be interesting to find out though

Hi ,
I felt exactly like you describe for a long, long while and after I gave birth to my son the feelings of self doubt escalated.
I finally went to the doctor and described my feelings of self doubt and anxiety and she sent me on a Cognitive Behavoural Therapy course which has been absolutely fantastic.
I now only get self doubt seldomly and when I do get it, I know how to deal with it.
If you need any info, just give me a shout.

You've basically just described me. I doubt myself all the time even with the littlest things and I often feel like I can't do anything right.
What do you do on this course and how can I get involved?

WE are all more likley to have it sadly ( i have depression ). CBT is a good start , but heres a next step . When your day dreaming if you can visualise (it takes practice ) yourself as yiour favourite hero . Then if you can start to replace your own features with their s... and become your own hero

. I learnt meditation and mantras and some lucis dreaming before CBT it's well worth the efforrt

I get this a lot too I'm so glad I'm not the only one when you don't have anyone to turn too to ask for advice it seems like just normal paranoia but it seems like it is a dyspraxic trait I've always wondered this myself I've had dyspraxia all my life and it's nice to know that it is just the side effects of having the condition

.

Hi I also regularly deal with poor self-esteem and periods of anxiety as well, its frustrating and hard to deal with sometimes and affects all aspects of my life.

Hi
Yes i'm the same, I tend to put myself down and look negatively at things and always told by people that I shouldn't put myself down, which is strange because when I was younger I used to be really positive.

Interesting but not sure I agree entirely . .

I have a friend whose paranoia is not the classic 'people are out to get me' but more a fear that she is not a nice person and that she will inevitably upset people. Obviously this does have a corrosive effect on self esteem. Things can be so more complex than they seem sometimes and we spend a lot of time trying to analyse and make sense of them.
I think the other thing some of us tend to do is turn on ourselves and/or are very self critical and try to strive for perfection in order that our detractors are denied any opportunity to torture us with unfair criticism. "We're perfectly capable on our own Thank you v much".

I get paranoid if I say something wrong do something wrong a lot and how I look . In social occasions when I don't know people well it's a lot worse so I make sure I don't drink alcohol I case I say something I regret .
