Hi guys,

I am back. Long story but it basically involves a PC which was very sick and slow, a non existent IP Addrress and a uselessly slow Windows Vista Operating System.

But recently I have been in a bit of a crisis. I met a lovely girl from Russia in a site called Tagged which is a bonafide social networking site where do get to strike friendships and maybe more. Not like sites Bebo, Facebook and MySpace where your profile page gets clogged with needless and pointless things. She has for some time said the sweetest things about me like how much I mean to her and how much she thinks about me. She has also long talked of dreams of meeting me, marrying me and starting a family together. I told my mother about her and she warned me that no good will come of relationships with people from another country over the internet and that she reckons she will just use me. She also pointed out I could not keep financially as I am not working, or physically because theirs no room at the Inn. She said as a suggestion to perhaps move out and get a place of my own but I said that could not happen as I could not cope. She has been never been so 100% against anyone or anything in her life.

She said I am better meeting people here. A conversation last night she approached the subject of going to a social club or class and meet girls that way. This is my point that I wanto get accross. I am totally in the dark about what I would need to do at this class to get the attention and love of a girl.

Has anyone been to a class and met a girl that way? And if so what did you do to get the attention, company and love of your girlfriend? Problem is everyhere I Google for advice on pulling a girl in a night class all I get is advice more suited to a night club - probably.

Perhaps you should look first for a friend-not the Russian girl I agree with your mother.
I f you became friends wth a girl at a class,it would give you confidence and she might have friends with whom you could have a more romantic relationship.You sound young ,do not rush into anything. You have plenty of time.

I think you should go to a class and don't put too much presure on yourself. You sound like you're young so chill and just get to know people. Once you get the hang of chatting to people it will become easier. Picking a class that you are interested in would mean that you are more likely to meet like minded people. this would give you a chance to talk to people.

You have to be careful to about meeting people on the internet. Life is tough in Russia and she could be a perfectly nice girl or she could be someone who just wants to get out. A lot of women in different countries have very few options but to get married and look on marrying a foreigner as a way of escape. I hate to be siding with anyone's mother considering my mother did her best to get in my way but your mother is right. you need to be practical. You live at home, have no way of supporting yourself or her. You need to be able to take care of yourself first and then look at having a relationship with someone else.

I'm afraid I also agree with your mother.. I love salsa and have met friends and boyfriends there. It's important to make friends too as this will mean you meet their friends...and possibly a nice girl. But make lots of friends first and see where it takes you. Find out what you like doing and sign up for something. For me it was salsa. Good luck!
