Helloo

Post by emma »

Helloo, I kinda stumbled across this form, thought i'd join.. :)
My name's Emma, i'm 22, I was diagnosed with dyspraxia when I was really young, think I was about 4 years old.. Though i've went on to become a dyspraxic adult, which can be difficult...
Anyway, i look forward to talking to everyone :)

Hello Emma.. yeah they always treat dyspraxia like childhood exzema ~ you'll grow out of it one day!! Yeah right! I'm 37 & still got my childhood exzema, dyspraxia & teenage acne LOL... but as you get older, it gets easier in ways of learning the multitude of coping & avioding mechanisms.. you get to know what you can't & can do & you get to learn how to tell people to either back off or be a bit patient with you.. I can do so now quite assertivly, & without having a dyspraxic tantrum, thankfully one of the things I did eventually grow out of!!!

Anyways nice meeting you

Saz
