Hey all
i have had a chance to look at some papers we were given a while back by the doctor for my boyfriend and i noticed that it lists 3 different things. It lists dyspraxia from the day he was born (though he was only diagnosed after high school, during college), depression, anxiety, anger/behavioral problems and then mental retardation. Is the mental retardation separate or is that the dypraxia? I know that he is immature for his age and there are other things i notice as well, i am just trying to find out as much as possible.

I think no definitive link.
From what I've read dyspraxia and dyslexia and other associated disorders do not have an impact on intelligence, indeed dyspraxics are frequently quite intelligent and frustrated by an inability to communicate this because of the disruption to their spoken and written output.
