I tried photography once, but it was getting too technical for me, so I didn't continue with it.

I dabble in a bit of photography, David. I've never taken a course in it, but if you invest in a decent digital SLR and get a decent guide to taking digital photography I think you can learn most of what you need. I don't do anything commercial with my photography at the moment, but I'd like to, and who knows I might take some good shots from my upcoming trip. Will make a change for the daffodils and sheep that are the main subjects around here, lol.

I was using a black and white film on a manual camera. I think that is right.
I thought, I don't need to be worrying about black and white, when the future is digital shots, where light are adjusted automatically.

The great thing with digital is that if you've taken a colour photo it's simplicity itself to sample it as a black and white, sepia or otherwised colourised image to see which appears most effective.

I've been going through some photos of Rosslyn Chapel this evening, and some of the interior shots work so much better as a colourised monochrome image. What was a photo that simply didn't work suddenly becomes something entirely different. Experimentation can be half the fun!

Digital wins for me any day of the week, especially as If you have taken a bad photo, you can see it straight away and take another one. It is so much better, then having the photos developed to find the one picture you wanted isn't how you wanted it. You can't do anything about it then.

I'm studying Illustration BA, just going into my 2nd year. It was a close call between Illustration and Photography, but I'm happy with my choice. I still continue with Photography as a hobby.

Now I have completed and have now pass MOS Word (Core) - I am carry on studying whilst seeking work. I am going to do the MOS Excel (Core) course.

Even if I do get work sorted out during this time - I will still be going to college during the evenings (Friday \:D/) or possible on Saturdays if I have to continue with this course before the college deadline

i used to be into photography and i even worked in a black and white laboratory but i kept on forgetting how to set up the enlarger .

i then worked as an assistant photographer and worked on the argus cataloge, but unfortunately drugs got in the way and they did not re-hire me. i pretty certain that they knew that i was taking drugs in the toilet. Also calling in sick when i was cold turking from not having any drugs did not help the situation.

that two opposing ways that dyspraxia influsnced me in the past. firstly a creative outlet in photgraphy. i could never paint because of poor hand eye coordination. seconly, the horrible sense of alienation and self loathing that drew me to taking drugs. thank god i dont feel the need to take drugs any more and have the awareness now to pursue my dreams again.

When I was at college on a course connections - I did photography for one afternoon for 9 to 10 weeks. I struggled with most of the elements involved espically when it came to the develop part

I managed to get the level 1 credit as the entry level which I was given first was over turned by the tutor as he did not understand it, because some was base on effort for the option courses each time I would have use this as my library period and did wednesday only option of IT

In a couple of weeks time goimg away I am starting Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) in PowerPoint and by the end of the year I am planning on starting the MOS Access depends on how long it takes me to pass this course

I am hoping I can see some jobs which could be suitable to applied for IT/data inputting via employment agencies and companies have not see anything job yet what I can say 'yes I be okay at doing this' since I have posted/edited this post

Hopefully I may get a few interviews -

I am hoping I be in work whether this is part time or full time by the end of the year - I am starting to get bored now being stuck at home, even though I go part-time to college -

If I cannot find any jobs which could be suitable to applied for - I will carry on studying gained more qualifications in IT (MOS) which hopefully theses may come in usefully when I do get a job in IT in the future no matter how long this takes

I am still studying part-time at college - I can put in a few more hours per week since I finished at the training provider - I am hoping to finished MOS PowerPoint this month as I am a little behind with my (ideal targets)

I will be starting MOS Access sometime this year - with this extra qualifications I should be able to find one or two more suitable jobs to applied for

I have now completed and pass Microsoft Office Specialist PowerPoint - at the 3rd attempt (all tests done on-line) scored 727 out of a possible 100 (pass mark for this exam was 650) - I am very happy with what I scored -

I will be doing Microsoft Office Specialist Access next hopefully this will not take me six months and will not have to do any resits on-line

It has been really interested doing theses Microsoft courses I have picked up one or two things I have not used before or forget how to do some things I think were not covered by the European Computer Driving Licence

Ahh powerpoint. Creating the illusion of productivity :P

(MRes/Psychology)

First degree in Biology and the current degree in Environmental Health in my second year (but doing 2nd and 3rd year modules....). Currently on track for a 1st but will probably end up being a 2:1 as I don't think I can keep the work up to standard till the end of the course... In 10 years time probably working as an environmental health officer in a local authority or if I am lucky either working for myself or abroad... I don't plan on re-training again if I can help it!!!
