I didn't chew the tablet right last night as only one side of my mouth went blue!
No red is showing up now. Is that good? Also this morning there was hardly any blue so I'm not sure if that's good either but lets hope so!

Sounds like it should be. Sounds like you'll be plaque free in no time.

I hope it works out for you Creative.

I think you've just answered a rather odd question I had the day before yesterday. I had to check it wasn't you too by seeing where your location is, lol. But I was out with my gf into town and as I was getting in the car I saw a young woman with blue teeth and they looked really bad I have to say.

I wondered what the hell she had done or if she had something wrong with her, but true to this day, I swear they were blue, and pointed it out to my gf. I think I know why they were now, and she probably had just come from the detist too. God I feel bad now for thinking those things about her but now I know for future refference :)

Mine are not blue when I've finished brushing them! Goodness I wouldn't go out if they stayed blue!
It's just my tongue that stays blue for a while afterwards but people wont see that!

Not unless you are sticking out your tongue at someone [-X You'll just have to behave yourself for the next while! Can anyone do that thing where they roll their tongue?

I have used them once at home, I did not like the taste of it (but will used them again if my dentist thinks it will help me.)

I do seem to remember using them in school, each class had a random taste which we all did, so the teachers could see how much plaque was on our teeth.

I remember those plaque tablets! My dentist would always make me chew one before he cleaned my teeth just to prove his point that I wasn't brushing good enough. It made me feel judged as a child. They would give those tablets out with dental plans. Wow, I haven't thought of those tablets in years. Chewing them on a daily basis would probably make me brush much longer and more thoroughly.

Dentists need to be educated about dyspraxia during training don't they?
Anyway I'm no longer using the tablets. My dental hygiene has improved. It's not good enough, I still have to have my teeth cleaned by a dental hygienest every 3 months.

I did go to the orthadontists. I was told that it was best to leave my teeth as they are. Apparently dyspraxics have trouble holding their teeth in the correct place after wearing braces. I thought i was going to have to have surgery done but the orthadontist couldn't see there would be a lot of benefits in having it done. It sounded like a lot of pain and no gain!

Denstery now theres a areara which I have had work done - knocked one of front tooth and broke it in two from slipping on the floor when I was younger (it also dosent / dident help that my front teeth stick out). There have been trips to the denst to re buld this on a number of times as it isent 100% perment but now it should be as a more perment job has been done on it.

Braces I have had top braces and a retainer put in when I was a young teenager and that did the trick for the top but for the bottem teeth they are getting out of place, the outhodontest said it would be ok (its intresting to hear the sugestion that this could be dyspraxic related).
Also when I had my braces fitted I was lucky to have teeth taken out under anastectic as at this age I really wasent good with denstists.

Now if I could I would get bottem braces fitted and also I seam to have quite a fue fillings at a relitiie early age (22) I don't know if thats just how my teeth are or its sugger abuse :evilb:

The trouble with me not having braces is that when i bite I'm biting on the skin at the top of my mouth. It's sore a lot particularly at night time but i have to learn to live with it i think.

Have you been / asked your destist about this as a retainer could sort this out.

The Orthadontist said I had to learn to live with it unless I wanted the operation and the dentist sent me to the orthandontist. Would a retainer work then?
