Since i got a formal diagnosis of dyspraxia a few months ago, and have a place on a pgce for september, i have applied for dsa support this time. (Didn't apply for my degree).
The main thing i was thinking i'd need would be some sort of study skills type help for essay writing. ( i picked a maths degree since i never could write essays!). But actually they reccomended lots of usefull things i hadn't thought of. Also some things i turned down since i didnt think i needed them (i.e. a notetaker and speech-to-text software). Also reccomended i have screening for something i forget the name of.
Trust me, don't turn anything down as soon as you start your course you will probably find you will need what is recommended....
It is difficult to get your LEA to do anything further at a later date....
