Computer games: Wonderful Irony

I found it amusing in an ironic way that Dispraxia effects eye hand co-ordination.
Before I even knew the condition existed I was doing my best to combat it: Playing Computer games non stop!!

I can now thank my years of too much sega and playstation for my excellent eye hand co-ordination.

...pity about my eye sight though.

So what kind of games do people on here play?

Imostly play role playing games like Final fantasy and Suikoden, and when i get a chance to play other people, it;s usually on a fighting game like tekken.

All I play is Football Manager 2007. I am after all 31. I am too old for a fat plumber or a blue hedgehog that goes over 100mph. I rarely even play Age of Empires III.

I do play Internet Checkers a lot which came with my Windows XP PC. I also loose a lot so it ain't exactly fun.

But that is the problem as to why I never play games. I always loose and it is demoralising and dispiriting.

you need to play an RPG, then, the only enemy is time. If you can't beat a monster you can go and get stronger and try again, plus you gat a nice, booklike storyline to enjoy.

I recommend Final Fantasy X or if you're a fan of Disney films, Kingdom Hearts. it;s a game where you visit various disney worlds and defeat "the Heartless" brrrrrrrr.

i noticed that but i used it as a excuse aswell to stay on my ps2 or pc for ages i find i am really good with computers etc and i seem to be good at the shoot em ups and the sports games

I spend most of my time playing chess, either electronically or not. If its not chess then its Mah Jong.

at the moment I am having a break from World of Warcraft, as I am having problems, so I have really cut back on it.

the other games I play is GTA: San Andreas, 18 Wheels of Steel Haulin', Trainz 2004 (mainly trying to build my own train tracks, and then see intercities go full pelt into eachother! as I haven't put enough signals on my track!), and a bit of Suduko

yeah chess kicks ass.

I don't have much time for any sort of games at univercity. Against my better judgment I brough my console with me to my apartment, but so far it hasn't hindered my studies. It's handy as a source of cheap entertainment, TV is rubbish.

I loathe games where I have to think too quickly.

I often play... Heroes of Might and Magic 3 and 5, Age of Empires 1 and 2 and Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction. I do have to think fairly quickly in Diablo so as not to get deaded, but I don't find that impossible, it's more racing games and really fast-paced shooting games that I have issues with. I also LOVE Mahjongg and hog my mum's Vista machine when I'm at hers because Mahjongg is on it by default.

Having said all that, my games are uninstalled from my computer at the moment, because I don't have any self-control and can easily play til 5am and mess my sleep pattern up.
