I usually go with:

"Dyspraxia is a neurological condition resulting in a sequencing disorder that affects physical and cognitive processes."

neurological = brain related

sequencing disorder = co-ordination

physical + cognitive = body and mind

I reckon that covers just about every eventuality.

As far them trying hide it from they did the opposite they fought and fought till they found out a diagnosis for me. I really give them a lot credit for that.

My dad didn't acknowledge it (although he does now), but my mum fought and fought as hard as she was able because she knew there was something wrong with me. She was ignored and I am now 23 and undiagnosed. The docs don't give a monkeys now I'm an adult and my GP pretty much said that.

hmm...suppose it will be pretty much the same for most people saying no to this subject though,

I voted no, as most of you know, my parents found out the same time as me back in January 3 years ago

Mine did... well my dad refused to acknowledge a problem, and my mum wanted to tell me when I was 7 or so that she thought I had it so I could get tested etc. but she brought it up one parent's evening at school and dad/teachers guilted her into thinking it would be wrong to label me. Which I can see the sense in but now I am 18 trying to go through the long processes of getting tested and trying to be taken seriously.
hmm
