Gambling

Post by SomeT »

Anyone on here like to gamble, if so do they find things like poker or anything hard to learn? I am trying to just learn the rules of poker at the min and I am finding it really difficult.

I'll gamble match sticks!! My big brother was desperate to learn Poker so like a good sister I played with him night after night. As a result I can now plat quite well. I earnt little sister brownie points making my bro. feel superior to my appauling card playing ability!

I picture the cards in my head in an assending order. seems to work.

Watch that gambling though !1 oooh yes \:D/

My luck never seems to be very good when it comes to gambling, so I steer clear of it ;)

My flatmate did some online gambling for a while and actually made some money on it, and he showed me how poker is played as I didn't have a clue. I'm not a gambling person myself though, aside from a weekly pop at the lottery.

Good to see you only have a weekly pop at the lottery, the main thing to consider in gambling is control I think so you do not become addicted, I seem to be very good at this, as I don't beat myself up if I loose and gamble more money I just walk away.

i worked in a casino,in security, before i found out i was dyspraxic,i didnt really have to make small talk with anyone so it suited me just fine.
One day my manager said hed like to train me to be a croupier. BIG mistake, all coordination went out of the window after weeks of knocking over chips and screwing bets up completely my fait au compli happened when i was told to show the managing director my new skills on the roulette wheel. only i had been practicing on a right handed table and i had to show him on a left handed one.
The wheel spun and i dropped the ball in,but i hadnt dropped it properly,it ricochet out and smacked the m.d between the eyes.i left the job the following day. So no i dont gamble lol
