I'm still doing Microsoft Office Access, I am hoping to pass this by May/June 2007 at this IT adult college . I am studying part-time on a walk in basis (but must put in a minimum of 2 hours per week)
In a couple of weeks time I will be having a go at the practise test (pre-set) in either the training or testing one (or could do both) it will give me a good chance to know what I need to work on

I had a go at the training exam at college on Saturday (yes this IT opens Saturdays) and scored 81%
I had a review today and signed to confirm my end-date (so the people higher up then the centre manager cannot changed the date as this unit is a long one and is difficult), only a handful ofstudents at the IT college I go to have completed MOS Access and the pass mark is 63%

Still studying Microsoft Access, want to make sure I am fully ready to do the exam on-line either later this month or next month (this college/training centre does not close for Summer)
I am hoping after I gained this qualifications companies may take a little bit more noticed when I applying for jobs
Still I have Word, Excel both expect(sp?) to work on

Hi all
I have now decided that after failing MOS Access exam last week (and guidance from a college tutor -I can do a re-sit later this year on-line as I do not feel ready to take it again by August (cannot afford it at the moment and would feel a bit upset if I failed it again before goingaway
I will be studying the book at home and doing the excerises and getting them checked
I am making a start on MOS Word Expert course, hopefully I will be able to pass and finished this in December then at least I have done what I have set out to do and pass two in one year

I'm still continuing going to college with MOS Word Expert - this is my 8th year going to college whether this is full time/part time, or one night a week (even if I been working, I still managed to put college in)
At the moment I do not think I have wasted my time the last three years with my extra IT qualifications, even though I have not find much work, it might start becoming a problem soon.

I'm just embarking on an MSc in Equality & Diversity at Cardiff Uni, though it's a part time course, and my fist lecture isn't for another month. I'm slightly nervous, as they schedule all the lectures for one module over a three day period, so it's gonna be pretty intensive - I'm slightly worried about my concentration waning, particularly on the first day which is sheduled from 5-8pm (I'm waaaaay more a morning person!). Hopefully if I get some kind of formal diagnosis between now and then (I have no idea how long it might take...) then my lecturers might be understanding (thers no hiding at the back for me as there's only 5 people on my course!!!)
