That is interesting - I'm not bad at sight reading, but have great difficulty learning a tune by heart from a sheet of music - I can however play a bit by ear (which is different to learning something by heart).Nicky wrote:That's exactly the same as me Steph, my sight-reading is appauling, but after I've heard a piece I can play it no trouble (apart from really modern atonal stuff).
