Hi everyone, I’m Caitlin, 25 and from Newcastle.
I was diagnosed with dyspraxia when I was in primary school and had another assessment through my university in 2023 and yep, you guessed it! Still dyspraxic.
I never really considered using a forum for dyspraxic adults until recently starting a new job where my dyspraxia has become more apparent to me than ever before. I am also waiting for a private autism assessment through “right to choose” which is fun!! (She says sarcastically).

Managing day-to-day tasks with dyspraxia.
I believe that small routines can make a huge difference in managing daily challenges. Do you think creating overly structured plans might sometimes increase anxiety or feeling of being overwhelmed? How do you balance routine with flexibility to keep your daily life manageable?

Help with Managing Daily Clumsiness.
I believe that understanding the root causes of our clumsiness can significantly improve our daily lives. Sometimes it's not just about being "careful," but about recognizing underlying sensory or neurological factors. Do you think our environment or habits contribute more to our clumsy moments, or is it something deeper within our bodies and minds?
