Doing my thesis

I'm struggling with my undergraduate thesis. I have been trying to do it but when I work on it, my mind goes blank, and I'm stuck with 0 progress since last semester. When I discussed it with my lecturer, I was having a hard time explaining it, and it was pretty difficult for me to find topics, arrange words, and prepare for my thesis defense. It feels like I always stutter, and I can't answer clearly when people ask questions about my thesis proposal. I wonder if I can pass my thesis defense well if I have all of these difficulties. I have also avoided my lecturer for months when I should be having weekly discussion about my thesis.
I'm so ashamed that I have not made any progression and I really want to hold thesis proposal defense this year. I do not want to proscrastinate again, but I don't know where to start or what to do with these problems. What should I do?
