Been learning on and off for like two years now, taken 5 tests.
First two tests, shouldn’t have even attempted, I wasn’t ready and was a bad driver.
Third test nearly passed but made mistakes with gear control and junctions ( literally within last 5 mins of test)
Ok so fast forward three years because of covid and uni, I try again, was not ready and not prepared, took my test in a place 1.5hrs away and with no idea as to the county roads involved and no sense of where I was going.
5th test (today) never felt so confident, new instructor beloved in me and said if I handed a license to you know then I know you’d get on lovely but I know test day nerves get to you. This is true, I was prepared for this test and I really thought at one point I’d pass. Aced reverse park and everything until half way through test where I hit the curb and very unfortunately flatten the tyre.
Do I go again??
What a struggle with driving

Firstly Welcome to the Forum.
I'd say yes give it another go. Sounds like you're almost there.

It sounds like you’ve put in a lot of effort and faced some tough challenges along the way. If you feel ready to give it another shot, I’d say go for it! Each test is a learning experience, and it sounds like you’ve made progress. Maybe take a few more lessons to build your confidence before the next one. Just keep practicing those tricky spots, and don’t let the nerves get to you.
