If I could back in time and learn to drive again, I would start with video lessons. There are good videos on YouTube (as well as unsuitable videos for various reasons) and you can spend a bit of money to get even better lessons. Watch them as many times as you like, take notes and so on.
Once you find an "actual" driving instructor, don't stop with the video lessons either. If you don't get on with your instructor for whatever reason, find a new one.
Books can be useful too.
With all these methods, you don't want anything that seems to encourage stress, anxiety and so on. Unfortunately much of the human race seems determined to make everything as stressful as possible lol, but you don't have to go along with that mentality.

While I don't drive myself (too visually impaired) I definitely look at YouTube if I need info on how to approach a problem.
