Pain caused by spicy food and mint
I find both mint (particularly toothpaste) and any spicy food (particularly curry) unbearably painful due to a burning sensation in my mouth, I am aware of the former affecting dyspraxics and autistics, but has anyone else experienced the latter?
Re: Pain caused by spicy food and mint
Neither the former or the latter, for me
That said even among dyspraxics/Autistic folk, the Neurodivergent and Neurotypical we all have infinite presentations and reactions to things.

Re: Pain caused by spicy food and mint
I'm sorry to hear that you experience pain from both mint and spicy food. I haven't personally experienced the burning sensation from spicy food, but I have heard of others who have. As for the mint toothpaste, I can relate to that as I also find it quite intense. Have you tried incorporating some organic beet root into your diet? It's known to have anti-inflammatory properties, which may help alleviate some of the discomfort you feel. Just a thought to consider.
