Family support, people diagnosed with dyspraxia etc as a child
For people who were diagnosed with dyspraxia etc as a child , how important was the family support ?
Re: Family support, people diagnosed with dyspraxia etc as a child
I don't think my parents tried to explain it. I was always being dragged to see doctors and complimentary therapists to try to help with things like my eczema. I feel it reinforced notion of all the things 'wrong with me, I just wanted to be 'normal'.
I do accept Mum was trying to get best for me, though I did mot need a cure.
I was in my mid-30s before I discovered Dyspraxia.
