right - does anyone else suffer from - or at least get affected by seasonally adjusted disorder?? cos I do and it's rubbish. Is there anyone amongst us I can whinge to about it?? I'm going to try and be clever and do a poll thingy - wish me luck
Lol Ruth! I used to get horribly affected by SAD as a teen, don't really suffer as much these days. I wasn't very happy as a teen and I am now so maybe I never really had SAD at all! But I do feel happier when I'm walkin somewhere n it's a bright day, then I do in the winter when it's dark.
I get knocked down, but I get up again, you're never ever gonna keep me down

I always thought that sad stood for "seasonal affective disorder" looks like we're talking about the same thing though, guess my memory fails again.
I'm an absolute no vote. The winter months are my favoriate months. Cold I can stand, heat stops me from doing anything. I hate the summer. I think my genetics are designed for a cave in Scottland somewhere :P

ah as I thought no...
Greg I think of it as seasonal whoosywhatsit so yuo may well be right. I used to call it Autumnitis and figured out by my late teens that I'm not quite right in the Autumn ( even more than usual) My rule was and is 'don't make any life changing decisions in the Autumn'. I heard of sad about 10 years ago now and went aaah so that's what it is.
New job and this sure is making life fun

I think sunshine can perk us up although I agree with Greg's earlier comment that I'd rather be somewhere cool than somewhere hot.
At present I'm not sure if it's the sunlight that's been affecting me as much as the fact that it's been raining for almost 3 days straight combined with howling gales. I almost feel housebound.
