Grants for Dyspraxic students?
I'm currently applying for student finance and uni, but I need an up-to-date diagnostic assessment for dyspraxia, and I haven't been screened since I was 13. I've found someone locally who can give me a diagnostic assessment, but it's going to cost me £270, which I can't afford
Does anyone know of anywhere for Dyspraxic students to get grants to help cover costs of diagnostic assessments? I've asked my uni, but they no longer offer them, and don't know of anyone who does!

To my mind your College/University really should be helping you more, either by funding it for you or helping you to identify and secure the funding for an assessment.
The Dyspraxia Foundation have a helpline and may be able to offer some ideas http://www.dyspraxicadults.org.uk/forum ... f=1&t=4524

Re: Grants for Dyspraxic students?
I paid for my assessment myself, after being told by my university that I couldn't recieve funding from them, and then came home from the assessment to see an email from the uni saying they could fund students having assessments after May!
Thankfully, I've spoken to the uni, and they're going to refund me

Good to hear. Do pursue them if 'they forget'
