Hello,
I'm wondering how many of you experience the things that I experience? Because these things are becoming an all out pain for me at the moment:
Do any of you randomly wobble over whilst standing up sometimes? For example, whilst I was standing around the other day, I almost lost my balance and fell over.
No matter how hard you try, do any of you find it almost impossible to do things quickly or get organised? Whenever I need to be somewhere on time, I am always late. No matter how hard I try.
Am I the only one whose handwriting is absolutely awful? I am also really bad at maths!
I cannot concentrate whenever I am working for the life of me. I always get carried away doing other things; like staring out the window
Am I the only person who worries about stupid little things? Or is really shy and nervous?
Best wishes,
Benjamin E.

Re: Am I the only one who..?
No, you're not the only one.
Dodgy balance is quite common in dyspraxic due to the hand to eye coordination difficulties, whilst poor fine/gros motor control can make things like gripping a pen, buttoning up a shirt, tying laces into a infuriating mission.
Concentration is often effected by the cognitive difficulties.

Oh, right. To be honest, that really does explain a lot, Jim.

Snap. I also have a tendency to do this, I find I bump into doors, tables etc and trip over thin air or overbalance especially if I try to turn too quickly or move to avoid bumping into someone.Beneyriey wrote:Hello,

It's does seem really common to have days when absolutely nothing seems to go your way and it really does wear you down as despite all your efforts things just don't or rarely seem to fall into place. Honestly the world is chaotic and so are the lives of other people too! I find that I need to have some sort of sense that I'm in control and that life and my dyspraxic ways conspire to mess that up. Some days I find I can go with the flow, other days I think why me 8-(Beneyriey wrote: No matter how hard you try, do any of you find it almost impossible to do things quickly or get organised?
