Hi all hope you don't mind me posting this, there is an opportunity to listen and learn from the world's best about sensory integration, and having completed my PG cert in sensory integration and praxis really wanted to share this with you in my opinion it is life changing to go to the conference in person would cost 10x what its being offered for by the web so here's the link if you want to learn about this http://lcl.publishpath.com/Default.aspx ... ve-webcast
Moderators please place in appropriate place and note that I am only posting due to short time scale and what I consider to be excellent value but if this is not allowed please remove thanks

Just wondering if anyone else watched any of this conference? And if so whether you would like to chat about it.

Must confess I did not look at link as not really of professional interest to myself.
Was wondering if you might write us a brief layman's summary of what sensory integration is how it works, how it might affect how different people handle stimuli or process information etc as think it would be really interesting.
I must say I find myself tripping over words such as prioperception and vestibular and I probably should have looked them up even if this was merely to check my spelling. Happy to volunteer to proof read/make suggestions as a layman if that would be helpful and you want to have a go. (Feel free to PM me)

Re: Sensory integration conference [related to dyspraxia]
A very short answer is the organization of senses for use...... but I will write something more comprehensive as I believe that its a leading course of dyspraxia and their is evidence that SI treatment works to decrease the symptoms of dyspraxia but I will add this to my to do list!
