Working Out

Post by 101 »

I enjoy working out for strength gains and I'm getting fairly good. I stick to compound exercises that (in theory) are simple to do. My problem is I can't get myself to deadlift correctly. I don't want to give up on it but lots of practice isn't making a lot of progress.

I'm not as educated about dyspraxia as I'd like to be. I've been doing a bit of reading and found some suggestions that dyspraxic children often have imbalances of strength throughout their body. It was found that by correcting these imbalances the children found their coordination and ability to activate muscles improved. This got me wondering if perhaps I have a muscle imbalance which I've had a long time and working out has yet to level it out. Perhaps this is an underlying problem with my deadlift and my technique would improve much easier

I was wondering if my theory does make sense as well as if anyone has any other suggestions of how I can teach myself to do it correctly.

Sounds like you need to find a really good gym. Somewhere like a good bodybuilding gym where they can guide and teach you. Good luck with it. Its fun.
