I swear, I can not tell you how many times I have twisted my ankle running and it being so painful. Does anyone here have poor leg ligaments? I think it was basically an added bonus which I was born with along with Dyspraxia, but basically I walk like a penguin as natural habit because I, one, have flat feet, and two, have poor ligaments of the legs. Again, does anyone have this? Because I need suggestions on how I can fix the problem but everything feels slightly wrong.
It feels like my natural skeleton doesn't want my feet pointing forwards, and it'll do damage if I force them forward or train my feet to point forward; I want to know that when I point my feet forward, it's how my skeleton naturally walks and not my mind forcing them.
I don't know if flat feet are anything to do with it, apparently a bone in each of my legs is too short or something and that's why I have special insoles for my feat, but I think it's different from my leg ligaments.
If anyone has any advice or suggestions though I would really appreciate it

I don't think dyspraxia has anything to do with what angle your feet point. Everyone is slightly different in this respect.
I can definitely relate to muscular and ligature difficuties though as I'm having issues with my neck, back 8 shoulders even if I am struggling to make my doctors take me seriously.

Your doctor isn't taking you seriously? Doesn't sound very professional this doctor!

Dyspraxia has everything to do with the angle of your feet which is why you may often go over on your ankle or trip over the pavement and when you do fall over you fall clumsily and at a akward angle.
My son had to go physiotherapy and use a exercise band at home to try to turn the foot to a more normal position.
We then went private for treatment which different exercises were done ,it has improved it but I dont think it will ever be in the normal position but he doesnt fall over as much .
I too have both feet which were both turned in slightly. Never seem to pick our feet up properly which is why you may trip over a pavement and fall akward we dont seem to put are hands out to break the fall as reflexes may not be quick enough . It again has a lot to do with reflexes the parachute and segmental rolling reflexes and a few others as well that may still be in a primitive form. Testing reflexes were for testing for cerebal palsy which was another name for Dyspraxia and all Dyspraxics have all got flaws in reflexes you have too have otherwise you would not be dyspraxic.Some people are worse than others .

Yes, but everyone is different and no two people are the same whether they are dyspraxic or not, dyspraxia may well be a contributary factor but it isn't nessacerily the direct factor in the angle of a persons angle of limbs.

My physio recommended pilates to strengthen the core muscles which affect balance..My other physio said my feet turn out too much and that I am very mobile. I too have a fear of falling (1 broken elbow, 1 broken shoulder last year!) and I am conscious of not picking my feet up enough when at kerbs etc. I'm working on it...

Short of several operations where the surgeons break your legs, reposition them and then you're in plaster from hip to toes for 8 - 12 weeks, I dont think there is anything you can do to "fix the problem'. I had Dr's and specialists mumbling about me having the operations done, but they decided not to.
I'm happy to live with my legs and feet the way they are. I'll never be a runner, I fall flat on my face if I do!!

hope u will be fine. i read your problem in detail. a sentence is very famous "slow and steady wins the race". so you are a brave person. your continue walking. in starting you walk in slow v. slow.but with the passage of time some improvement in your walking. because walking is the best exercise. so continue trying. thanks

I have some effective tips for you. Start with run/program, set realistic goals and keep your workout journal to measure your progress. Combine exercise with proper diet plan, check your pulse and listen to your body always.
