Hi Pinksun, I hope you are well :)

The exact cause of dyspraxcia isn't yet known but there are thought to be some contributing factors. Such as, were you born prematurely do you know?

It is all to do with our brains not developing fully as a baby. Think of it like a computer; all the parts are there, just some are wired up to different places, making some messages and information we receive, harder to understand and act upon :)

Don't apologise, I do that a lot too, but there is really no need :)

I hope you find my reply useful to you in some way :)

Hi again Pinksun

Everyone's brain is different whether dyspraxic, dyslexic, neither or both we can all be affected to different degrees at different times of our lives. When anyone is depressed and/or stressed it's because their brain is overloaded. It's very much a relative thing. Situations which hardly even phase some people can cripple others.

Have you heard of this book?
http://www.amazon.com/The-Dyslexic-Adva ... 03-2410137

I have yet to read it personally as I consider myself not to have any dyslexic traits. Might be worth a read or listen for yourself in case it's helpful.

Kind regards.

Hi Pinksun
Im the same as your self (depression included ;-)) . Your braian may simply run more quickly then others so while you don't get the minuite details , you will get the whole picture . We double DD's ;-) do some times miss details even more then others . What did your reports say ? It;s worth going over them again as well ?

With Dyspraxia and Dyslexia people are 'forced' into working in a way that suits them and not with the mainstream....that's way we suffer at school. One of the ways I've noticed is that people with Dyspraxia (or/and Dyslexia) are more creative minded!
