Hi Syeda
Welcome to the forum. Hope reading the posts and sharing experiences with others is helpful.
Try not to let yourself become defined by dyspraxia. While many things seem in many cases more difficult, you may still be able to achieve the desired end result in your own way. Looking at it in another way achieving things that are difficult can give a greater sense of accomplishment.
Sometimes we need to look at and approach tasks in our own way and not be frightened to do that (which is often a big part of the problem for me).
All the best.

Welcome, Syeda. Hope you will like it here.
Hopefully not making too many moot points... heh... *ahem*
Re: newly dignosed as dyspraxic
my entire life i have been labeled as the dumb, lazy and clumsy one and so i have always tried to break these perceptions that people have had about me.i would always put more effort in to things that my brain and body could not take but i stopped all of that about a year ago when i was told that all these problems may actually be due to a learning difficulty. but now that i have officially been diagnosed as dyspraxic i am determined to go back to the way i was because i feel like this is just a label that isnt really gonna make life better, its just another reason that people will have to annoy me.

Hello and welcome to the forum.
That above quote definately chimed with me because in primary school some of the staff tried to label me as that.syeda wrote:my entire life i have been labeled as the dumb, lazy and clumsy one
