A dyspraxic moment

Post by Kimiann »

I had a great dyspraxic moment at work yesterday. I work with small children and we have to help them open their food. I was opening a small box of sultanas and while I was opening the box, I looked at the use by date. Now, I know what a use by date is but for some reason my brain saw it as how many sultanas were in the box! I immediately thought "why are there only 15 sultanas in this box?" Then the penny dropped and I couldn't stop laughing. My work mates wanted to know what was so funny and once I could talk I told them. It became a bit of a game then, with the other staff checking to see how many sultanates each child had in their box. Thank goodness I work with crazy people!
I must add no-one at work knows I;m dyspraxic.

Haha!

I get some moments like that. One time I read on a tuna can 'dolphin friendly' and I was like, why are they telling me this 0_O ... oh.
Hopefully not making too many moot points... heh... *ahem* :D
