Just wondered if anyone, has the same problem. Im new to this site an its comforting to know there are others out there that go through what I go through.
I live by lists, it helps me to focus on what I need to do. Otherwise I think of everything that needs to get done all at once and my mind just gets completly jumbled! So lists, help me to order what I need to do. But half the time I cant be bothered to do a list, even though I know it helps me :s.
I am terrible at time, I couldnt honestly tell you if I had been sitting for 5 minutes or half an hour writing this new thread. Also, il say il leave at a certain time, so I have an hour to get ready. But then I will sit there daydreaming for half an hour, an then only have half an hour to get ready, when really I needed an hour. Then I rush, my mind gets jumbled an then I end up forgetting something!
I live on my own, with my daughter aged 2. Sometimes I dont even know how I survive! But somehow I do it! I am starting college in sept an my daughter in nursery. So I will have double the time keeping. I am really nervous inside, and wondering if ill even succeed!
I want to complete my college course, so badly! I never thought I would get this far, choosing a nursery, organising a place at college. So I guess thats positive!
Anybody have any really good tips on how to manage time? I look at other people an wish I could be just like them! To others, time, life doesnt look like a struggle to them.
Sometimes I feel like the clock is my friend an others I jus dont want to look at it!
Help !

Hi Faye
As you say you've succeeded in bringing plans of going to college to fruition and have got childcare angle covered too. You can do it but the faith in oneself can be the most nightmarish part.
I know the feeling. I also find rushing to get stuff on a list checked off can be stressful as things very often don't go to plan. Equally stepping back to plan and make a list seems silly when time pressure is on to get things sorted.Do try to factor in extra time where you can but the world is disorganised too! Try to allow yourself at least some thinking time and try to keep things in perspective in terms of life or death urgency. Few things are though somedays everything seems as if it is! Try not to let things get to panic stations!
When you do have some time to yourself try and watch John Cleese in Clockwise. Very funny film.
All the best
