Hi

Post by Clare »

Hi everyone. I'm Clare, I'm 30 and I live in Gillingham in Kent.

I was diagnosed with dyspraxia at the age of 5 and growing up, I only knew one other person whom had dyspraxia. My family also belonged to the Dyspraxia Trust but I don't remember anything about belonging to it. As an adult, I've met a few more people with dyspraxia.

I have a very supportive husband. He's researched dyspraxia and helps me out with things I find hard. I also have a 19 month old son. It's definitely a challenge being a Mum but worth it.

I love reading and I am also a Morris Dancer.

I look forward to meeting you all!

Hi Clare - welcome to the forum

You say that your family was part of a dyspraxicia trust - why was this, beceuse of you or was somone in the family dyspraxic, also you said that somone you knew was dyspraxic - what do you mean.

I am glad you have a supportive partner - that really does help.

Thanks Tim. I guess my parents joined to meet other people with children whom had dyspraxia. I'll ask them.

Sorry - I don't always find it easy to explain things. I meant I didn't know many other children whom had dyspraxia.
