no, I've never met anyone who looks like they could have it, or anyone whose said they have it. I kinda wish I knew someone else with it... would love to have a close friend who understands. Being up here in Canada it seems to be unlikely, since its not well understood or known.

I've just got back from my doctors. We're going to go to a family therapy session & she wants a reference from the head mistress & for me to talk to her about educational psychologists for further help. The ball is rolling now so I am delighted at us actually moving forward instead of backwards & we can enjoy family life, understand each other better & give my boy a proper start in life as from today. My only regret is that we suffered in silence for so long. A massive thank you for all your advice everyone. Cyber hug coming your way & you've done more than a good deed by taking time to talk to a demented Mum to help her & her child get through this :D xx

I am sure there are people around your areara of Canada who are dyspraxic - eather are in the same situation as you and know but can't find anyone or dont know they have it. - Its all abaout awareness of the condition - the more awareness is rased genralie and in one areara then more people will come forward.
However where abouts are you in Canada - is is remote or in a town / busey etc.

Back to the oringal topic yes I have meet quite a fue dyspraxics recently. I was at the dyspraxicia workshop in reading a fue days ago and as well as being a verry inforamative workshop / presentation meeting others with dyspraxicia was really grate and it made me feel more positive about it and that we arnt alone - there are people out there with dyspraxicia we just have to join together in person as well as on line.
