Remedies for Dyspraxia

Post by Magic_Lemur »

I have several cousins who have Dyspraxia (or Dyspraxic tendencies) and it is common wisdom in our family that, as a result, we are late developers and normally start to overcome the difficulties of Dyspraxia in our late 20's.

As overcoming Dyspraxia (if such a thing is possible) seems to be a matter of learning short-cuts, techniques, etc, I was wondering if anyone had read or learnt any techniques they'd like to share..? :-k

Personally, I've found that practicing things (e.g. Car driving), getting over 8 hours sleep and reading the Tao Te Ching (see thread 'Taoism and Dyspraxia') are all good ways of mitigating chaos as is asking advice (like Russell Crowe does in 'A Beautiful Mind').

Anyhow, would be good to see everyone's thoughts on this as we are surely wiser together... :)

I always feel better after a yoga class. Very good for relaxation and balance.

I do that too - have paper in my pocket but somehow its always quicker to write on your hand. Plus you can lose paper... :D
