Now, one or 2 or more of you maybe familiar with Rockschool. Now I'm doing the Grade 1 exam again as I failed last year and I seem to be having a spot of bother fully grasping the pieces into my head. Now its probably a problem with multi tasking, reading, listening and playing takes up a lot of energy and to have them blend in without fail is quite hard. Now I seem to have found a minor fix for the problem here, try to memorize the reading part so I'm only reading roughly as a guide so I can focus on where my hands are, what I'm playing and what's playing on the backing track.

What instrument were you playing? I could never get a handle on reading music. I learned by ear.
