Stomach/Indigestion Problems

Post by CHESLOU »

Does anyone who has dyspraxia also have a wheat intolerence or suffer from digestion problems or indigestion?

Ive tryed lots of things to help me in the past but with me being gluten free it surprising how difficult it is most things you pick up for this all have gluten in (typical) With my stomach problems

However through research and through word of mouth i finally found golden linseed which you just put on your cereal or other food in the morning which i found is really good. You can find this in most big supermarkets on the gluten free range or in Holland and barratts.

I only use it once a day and it one of the best things ive tried although its about £4.50 a box it lasts quite a while.

I can't eat or smell oranges, mandarins, satsumas, etc. They give me migraines.

I suffer with major excess acid and had been on medication for it for many, many years until they found out I have Hypophosphatemia a few months back. Now I cant eat many acidic things or fatty, spicy things. Although if I eat something else with say chips...I'm not too bad, so long as I have other food with it.

I have IBS too which causes lots of stomach ache, wind etc and when I get vertigo and start vomitting I end up hurling blood up for a while and had to be admitted to hosp once to stop sicking it up. I think nerves sometimes play a part in stomach problems too and also, for me at least, so does being tired. If I've slept worse than usual I wake up and tend to have lots more wind than usual too. Strange some of the things that happen to peoples guts because of different things isn't it!

Oh stress definately comes out in the stomach. Had lots of problems for years and had to come off loads of food Would avoid them still. Use acidopholic and super probiotic whenever there are problems but take the usual stuff like Gaviscon, etc.

oh yeah. I have to limit dairy and wheat...pity I love bread and cheese. Goats cheese is delicious and I've started drinking lactose free milk and it seems to be doing the trick

This is disgustions but I did some collonic irigation a few years back....I found it great...only the first day was horrible but after that it was fine-ish considering what it was....definately felt better after it. She gave me loads of recommendations about what to eat and not eat. I was really good for a while but I've been bold for a while so might have to go back to her.

I have dyspraxia, IBS, and a dairy allergy, all of which make the others worst. Because apparently just one way of my body being troublesome isn't enough!

You may have coeliac disease, and it can be quite serious, so I would check with the doctors just in case. :)

I have often struggled with bloatedness, but my memory is bad enough that I would be unlikely to remember what foods, if any, are causing it most likely!
