Re: Freezing
Me too! My feet get really cold particularly at night. I don't know if it's related to dyspraxia or not.
Re: Freezing
Not sure as i dont believe it affects blood circulation . Not sure of your ladies , but due to haveing wombs, blood flow to extremities (hands and foot) can be reduced, hence the real cold feeling .
Best go check with your GP

Re: Freezing
I have. I'm on medication for it but was wondering if it could be related to the Dyspraxia because I'm hypersensitive to other things and I have an idea that I came across it on a list but can't remember so was wondering if anyone else might have it too. By the way if anyone does the medication is great and makes a huge difference.
Re: Freezing
Hi all,
I think I read somewhere that our temperature control in the brain is affected! I have always had a very cold nose and hands and chilblains on my toes once as a child. 3 yeas ago I developed Raynaud's Phenomenon. I didn't realize till now that the two are almost definately connected.I advise you to look it up and read all the info on it and discuss it with your GP. Medication isn't always the best option!

Re: Freezing
What else did you do for the Raynauds? That's the diagnosis I have as well. With out the medication I just couldn't live here. It's very bad. The blood doesn't move below my knees, I can't use my hands to write, type, etc. and I get maigrains from the cold. I wear thermals and protective gear for my face when it's cold. When it's warm I don't have to take anything but it's just so cold and damp here most of the time. Can't understand why I wasn't born in a warm country
Re: Freezing
Lol silly me of course it is as its one of teh bodies 9 sense (balance , temprature , preassure and err one other i forgit ) . Fans of QI will know we 9 sense and not just 5
Re: Freezing
My hands and feet get cold so bad in winter. My ex used to say to me if I put my feet on his in bed that 'my feet were colder than the house' I have to wear big bed socks in winter when I go out and gloves and hats and scarfs are a big necessity for me.
Re: Freezing
You should talk to your GP. It made a huge difference for me being on medication. Weather here is unreal right now. I've had to pump up the heat because it is so cold.

However I believe there are more senses than that. How about the sense of guilt? lol
As for the original question my feet always seem to lack heat/let heat out for some reason.

I found the clip on You Tube. I couldn't find the list of the 22 senses. Would love to know what they are?
