...to pack a pen i a pocket in the lid of a suitcase, and after a minute find out that it will go much easier if you lift the lid off the floor so that the opening is upwards and not downwards

Re: You know you're dyspraxic when
when you get too much to get done and you spend the morning and afternoon planning what you're gonna do next and then you think of something thats important and you can't concentrate on the tasks in hand. I have recently started working in placement with social services within the same team. So I am basically doing too jobs at once and because I'm a little behind on my assignments for health reasons, my brain is constantly thinking of the assignment and because i have another job my head feels a litttle scrambled. (Please note the placement is only temporally and it's part of the course)

When you get home from 2 weeks away, walk into the bedroom and immediately bash your knee on the end of the bed! I told the OH what I'd done and he said "so you know you're home now then?"
I'm always bashing myself on the end of the bed !!

You know when you do something thats so ridiculous that you wonder if something is playing a joke on you because out of all the possible accidents to have why this inexplicable incedent. Such as pouring water into a glass. 25ml enters the glass and all 25ml flies into the air and out of the other side landing with a plop on top of your sandwhich.

Re: You know you're dyspraxic when
Despite giving myself 2 hours to get ready in the morning in the last week I have been to work with my blouse buttoned up wrong and top on inside out
On top of that cracked my ribs getting out the shower
Have had current job three months and no more room left to put things in the drawer so my desk is tidy

Going to the cinema and leaving the mobile there. While looking for the mobile in rucksack (before realising it was forgotten in the cinema) loosing bike lights. Returning to cinema to get mobile. Finding it there but losing wallet (maybe also when looking for mobile in the rucksack?). All in the same evening! before having to travel abroad! ](./images/smilies/eusa_wall.gif)

You accidentally smash your barber in the face with the wallet you've been trying to pull out of the pocket in your jeans to pay him.

You know you are Dyspraxic when you have to take strong pecautions in just about everything you do.
You know you are Dyspraxic when you were once in a class mingling only to find 3 weeks later you are sitting on your own in the corner.
You know you are Dyspraxic when you get so excited that people look at you as if to say whoah OK it wasn't that funny.
You know you are Dyspraxic when people look at you like you have two heads or resemble an Alien.
You know you are Dyspraxic when you are the laughing stock of the family.
But you also know you are Dyspraxic because everywhere you go you are sure to bring smiles and laughter
