Hi everyone!

Post by nessmaron »

Hi,

I'm Ness, I'm 21 and am training to be a primary school teacher atm. Was officially diagnosed a couple months ago, though I had been pretty certain myself since I found out it existed about 3 years ago. I'm loving reading posts on the forum - it's really nice to know that I'm not the only one who walks into things that have been in the same place for years and ends up finding car keys in the fridge. #-o It'd be really great to talk to others who actually realise how much of an impact dyspraxia can actually have as most people I have told really don't get it beyond the clumsiness...understanding that it is the reason I forget things said 30 seconds ago and am always late however much planning goes into not being seems to be something most people just can't get their head around however I try to explain it ](*,) so it's really nice to read about other people's similar experiences, and maybe I'll even learn a thing or two fromyou all about coping with dyspraxia day to day. My hobbies are watching football (Arsenal fan), volunteering and baking, especially if it involves chocolate! And atm I'm just hoping I can avoid crashing my car now I've finally passed and get through my final teaching placement without too many disasters - fingers crossed!
