keeping balance

keeping balance can sometimes be a nightmare especally if iam on the train or tube i sometimes always have to stand on the tube which i sometimes cant hold my balance and start bumping into people without meaning to anyone else have this problem?

Yes, Trains, Ferries, Buses, etc, standing on these while they are moving for extended periods of time can be problematic. Unfortunately the only solution I can offer is the obvious one of "hold on to something!" :P

thanks for reply mate i do hold on to somthing the differcalty is when busies trains tubes etc are busy and there is no where to sit i just loose me balance and bump into people as i said in earlier post and then feel embarassed

How about loosing your balance just standing still? ;)

I do it all the time: I'll sort of stagger sideways while I regain my balance, and mutter something like "oh! lost my balance..."

good point i must say i cant keep my balance standing still i twich and sometimes move without meaning to

I often feel I'm veering to the side when I walk. I'm not sure if I actually am or just think I am. I also go through phases of clumsiness where I just keep bumping into things - it seems like I'm staggering about all over the place. It's really frustrating!

yes i have too say i do this as well and your right it does get very frustarating sometimes i walk into people a lot at work without meaning too everyone knows iam dyspraxic and know that i would not do it on purpose

Anyone else absolutely detest roller coasters? The constant changing of direction shakes me up so much I feel out of sorts for quite a while after I am back on flat ground.

Another thing. When you lose balance do your muscles sort of simply let go so you collapse, normally without injuring yourself? Mine do and I have always thought it was a fantastic self protection mechanism in my body.

sometimes i can just about regain me balance before falling and my muscles do occssionly spasum but only for a second sometimes it happens serveral times sometimes it doesnt happen at all
