Can I be a scaffolder if I have dyspraxia?

Post by Liam222 »

I’ve been offered a chance to do it

I just want to know what people think

Am I putting myself and others at risk or should I give it a go?

Some with DCD would be able to do it, others not.

I would have given it a go if it was the most suitable job available to me, but I was fifty before I suspected that I had DCD.

Presumably most in industrywear hard hats and presumably harnesses if complying withH&S regs
Would imagine it would be physically demanding and involve some time pressure but as long as you want to I'd say try it and see!
