Usefully job websites

Post by Philip »

Since quite a few of us and possibly more in the future are looking for jobs

I thought about making a list of job websites, national papers etc which you have find usefully to hunt for jobs

http://www.jobcentreplus.gov.uk

http://www.totaljobs.com

http://www.monster.co.uk

http://www.reed.co.uk

Feel free to add sites into the thread/topic

Those are certainly the biggest job websites out there. I've found that Reed offers the best selection of jobs across all areas, whereas Monster is somewhat more specialist, but a number of recruitment agencies do pick up candidate details off the site, so it's worth registering. Totaljobs has good sections divided up by industry. I don't find the Job Centre website terribly good for searching generally nor for always getting the results you've requested but it does feature all of the jobs on the Job Centre network.
