People who work with the public

I need a bit of advice if there are any teachers or people who work with the public that have spelling problems. It really pisses me off when a parent gleefully tells me that I've spelt something wrong. I don't care if a person is telling me thinking they're doing me a favour but it really pisses off when they do it in a way to have a dig. All I want to do is tell them to get a f***king life. Does anyone have any advice on how to deal with the situation.
