Working from home & motivation

Does anyone on the forum work from home, and if so how do you keep yourself motivated and ensure that you get a good day's work done amidst the distractions of the house?

I have previously rum my own business from home and found that you have to be very strict about time management, organisation and trying to keep distractions from external/internal sources to a minimum...

I run my partners business from the house and find that spending so much time at home I get pleasure out of working because it gives me something more interesting to do than watch daytime TV or listen to the cat whine for more food (when i only fed him 10 minutes before hand).
